Dr. Ford completed his undergraduate degree at Princeton University. He received the MD degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.
Following his internship at the Montefiore Medical Center, he received training in Ambulatory Anesthesia at the Massachusetts General Hospital, before completing his residency at the Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Subsequently, he completed fellowship training in Pediatric Anesthesia, and then in Pain Management. Dr. Ford is Board Certified in Anesthesiology.
His career has included Academic appointments at SUNY Downstate Medical Center as Pediatric Anesthesiologist and he served as Director of Anesthesia at the St. Barnabas Medical Center, in Bronx, NY. Dr. Ford provided Office Based Anesthesia Services as Pain Management services as President and Medical Director of Ultimate Anesthesia PLLC. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the New York State Society of Anesthesiologists, and The New York State Pain Society.
Dr. Ford has a deep passion forteaching and preparing the next generation of Anesthesiologists. He has served as a coach and mentor, assisting board-eligible physicians in their preparations for the certification exam of the American Board of Anesthesiology.
